▶ Pull StartMythic Changes (vs Heroic)
⏱ 0:00Zealous Spirit
Buff now bounces between all 3 bosses — damage increase + empowers their ultimate. This is the new defining mechanic of mythic.
🛡️ Prot Paladin (Bellamy)
- Applies Tears Wrath (healing absorbs)
- Avenger Shield hits all players at once — massive dispel
Strongly recommend 1 Mistweaver Monk — a single Revival dispels the entire cast.
⚔️ Ret Paladin
- Shoots Divine Toll shields (dodge while soaking)
- Divine Storm tornadoes that circle in
✨ Holy Paladin
- Gains Ret Paladin soak (absorbs + soaks simultaneously)
- More raid damage across the fight
Global Changes
- Consecrations: 100% bonus damage + pacified inside. Drop side by side, never overlap.
- Healing absorbs: now target 5 players (was 3 on heroic). Assign soakers.
Pre-Raid Prep
⏱ 2:31- 4 dispels going out consistently — get the dispel WeakAura so healers know assignments.
- Get the healing absorb WeakAura to show absorbs on raid frames.
- Post-nerf: 4 dispels instead of 8, so fewer dispellers needed.
Raid Composition
⏱ 3:30Recommended: 5 Healers + Rogue
- Healing requirement lowered post-nerf — DPS check is irrelevant when 5-healing.
- Rogue reduces damage further — great value when DPS doesn't matter.
- 6-heal no-rogue still works, but 5-heal is the play.
Key Assignment Rules
⏱ 4:35Group Soaks (Execution Sentence)
- Always target healers — with 5 healers = 5 eligible targets.
- Assign 1 healer in the "duo" group to always float to empty spot if both duo healers are picked.
- 3 solo-group healers: if NOT targeted, immediately go to the duo group's spot.
Healing Absorbs (5 assigned)
Good targets: Mistweavers (spot healing), Ret Paladin (increased healing taken), tanky DPS.
Avoid: Disc Priest (bad for taking absorbs).
Don't rotate — put all 5 on the same people every time for simplicity.
Kill Order & Priority
⏱ 8:17Bosses Always Ult In Order
1st Ult
🛡️ Prot
→
2nd Ult
⚔️ Ret
→
3rd Ult
✨ Holy
Goal
- Kill Ret Paladin just before his 3rd ultimate
- Then kill Holy before her 3rd ultimate
- Kill Prot last
Opening
- Lust on pull, focus Ret Paladin first (Avenging Wrath = damage taken increase)
- After opener, swap to a non-Ret paladin to manage Ret's HP
Positioning
- Drag Prot Paladin far to the edge of the platform on first ult — buys space for the ending.
- Interrupt War Chaplain's Blinding Light → she free-moves for a few seconds (critical for repositioning).
- Move War Chaplain closer to her ult spot early — she's the hardest to reposition.
Tanking Tips
- Prot Warrior perk: Can spell reflect Exorcism cast AND Prot's Shield of Righteous secondary hit (big damage boost).
- Speed taunt (Brewmaster) is huge — without it, pre-taunt and run out early.
- On overlap tank combos, spam taunt immediately to get the boss back for the next swap.
Soaks & Shields
If you must choose: take the hammer, NOT the shield — shields are the easiest way to die.
- Always bait Elephant Charge in the direction you're moving.
- Respect the elephant — it kills non-tanks instantly on mythic.
Empowered Searing Radiance
- Stack for spirit link, but don't overlap with healing absorbs or it trolls.
- Camera-turn to dodge shields behind you.
Prot Paladin Ult (Important!)
Healing absorbs come from the spirit that spawns, NOT the Prot paladin herself.
You need to be closest to the spirit, not the boss.
Endgame (After Ret Paladin Dies)
- All bosses gain stacking damage amp.
Every Avenger Shield after this = press a personal or die.
- Focus Prot Paladin next (she cleaves down passively).
- Save big defensives/immunities for late Avenger Shields and damage-amped tank busters.
